Welcome to the new Hartsville Trousdale Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Website

As our community grows and changes for the better, we at the Hartsville Trousdale Chamber of Commerce & Tourism have developed a new website. Designed by chamber members Bear Web Design, we want this website to be your source of news and information about business and leisure in our historic and charming community.

Yes, we’re adding tourism back to our name. Our founder, Mrs. Eleanor Ford, knew the value of drawing customers from surrounding areas to shop, dine, and enjoy the beautiful Cumberland River that runs through our unique city. We’re joining forces with the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development
and the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development to help us prepare for guests who want to “Get to the Hart.”

More visitors mean more sales for you and your team, and the Chamber is here to support you like never before with Before and After-hours social mixers, videos about you and your business, newsletters, and media opportunities.

I joined the Chamber as Executive Director in June, and I’m bringing my news, advertising, marketing, and tourism background to enhance the benefits of your membership. Your dues will help fund several new initiatives toward your business goals in the coming year:

Stories From the Hart:

The Chamber will soon begin producing videos and podcasts on member businesses. Your story will be featured here on this website and advertised on social media with “web drivers” that will direct viewers to your Business’s video.

Your Business Celebrated:

Is your Business celebrating a milestone? Is a long-time beloved employee retiring? We’ll stop by on that special day to get that story and the photos of the staff for social and print media.

Internet Exposure:

The website is updated to include a detailed business directory of our members by category. This will allow search engines to pull up the location, a photo, and a list of goods and services offered. That’s a free worldwide advertisement! We also provide free opportunities for you to place your logo on our website homepage as a business partner of the Chamber.

Electronic Newsletter:

We will soon begin publishing a monthly newsletter to keep members informed of what’s going on in Business and tourism in our area. Members may advertise specials, promotions, or events free of charge in the newsletter, which is also a great way to stay in touch with what is happening in the Chamber and the community.

Grand Openings/Ribbon Cuttings:

These ceremonies increase the visibility of new or expanding businesses and are provided to Chamber members only. New members are featured in local and social media, providing immediate, free exposure!

Member Sponsorships:

Members who sponsor a Chamber event are offered high visibility and advertising value on broadcast and social media. As event sponsors, these businesses’ names are prominently displayed and promoted. Pre-event publicity and mailings afford broad advertising exposure at no additional cost above the event sponsorship fee.

We urge you to interact here and make this a source of sharing information, making plans, scheduling events, and, most importantly, getting the word out about living and working in “The Hart.”

Onward!
